Tap the instant the referee calls FIGHT! and you charge out. The earlier, the harder you hit — land first and you're already ahead.
Tap to slap, hold to brace. When your rival shows "!", hold to bounce the charge back. When they show "?", let go to dodge the slap-down.
Push them out or knock them over to win. Cornered? The straw bales hold your feet, and a comeback from the edge ends in an Edge Throw.
Every promotion brings a rival who fights a different way.
Maruyama, Pechimaru, Chokomaru, Dosukoyama. Slappers, a sneaky dodger, and a heavyweight who won't budge.
Hanekaeryu and Tosshinbo. A wall that soaks up slaps, and a charger who warns you with "!".
Inashigawa, Oshidaumi, Nebarifuji. Slap-downs, relentless pushing, and a wrestler who never stays down.
Ooguma and Kaminari. Strength you can't out-push, and slaps too fast to see.
